I finished S3. Been watch Ozark though, so haven't started 4 yet. Season 3 was "long winded". Defiantly the worst season so far. The combination of a toned down Frank and the whole Doug/hooker story line just wasn't quite right.Which episode are you on? Not to be a downer, but I'm halfway through s3 and it seems to be losing steam for me. It's not a patch on BB IMO.
Does Breaking Bad get better? Literally everyone I know has constantly told me i am missing out having not seen it so I thought I'll start watching it on Netflix.
I have watched the first season and 2 episodes in season 2 and so far I think it's crap. It's just so far fetched and silly in places i find it hard to take seriously at the minute. So shall I carry on or not?
I think I'll give up then lol don't want to waste my time watching another 4 seasons. To me a great show like Sopranos for instance has you gripped from the start and hardly has any bad episodes but out of the 9 episodes of breaking bad I have watched so far I would only say 2 have been quality the rest just boring. The gangster Tuco is laughable and so badly acted and Walters wife and her sister are such annoying irritating characters. Just can't believe the hype for it there is no way it's one of the greatest shows ever if the whole first season was so weakI agree, It's overhyped. I got to season 3 and got bored, didn't continue. If you can't get into by now then you won't.
I really like BCS but, if it’s even possible... it’s an even slower show!!Ok so forget what I posted a month ago about Breaking Bad being rubbish when I was halfway through season 2.
Having just finished the whole thing I have to say WoWwhat an incredible show. From season 3 it just transformed into an incredible journey. I’ve never known such an addictive show nearly every episode ends just forcing you to watch another. I’ve lost count of how many nights I have stayed up until the silly hours binge watching it on Netflix. Finished them all in just under a month.
Can’t believe i left it so long to watch it after all these years lol.
Anyone know if the spin off show Better call Saul is worth a watch?
I don't think that's really because of binge watching. I can binge watch pretty much anything, but the Sopranos was hard. I overall enjoyed the show, but sometimes I felt like I was being held hostage by it, because the pace was just so slow, or rather massively drawn out for no appreciable reason at times. That's the problem with binge watching anything - It's easy to get bored when you're just watching the same show one episode after another. I did the same with the Sopranos and got to part way through the fifth series before I just stopped watching it, I simply couldn't be bothered.
Sopranos is the greatest tv show ever produced imo. It’s not the type of show to binge watch as it can be frustrating and slow at times. It’s best to watch once or twice per week. I can see how it could be frustrating to watch if your trying to do a bunch of episodes at onceI don't think that's really because of binge watching. I can do slow, but it has to make sense and be full with setting tone an so on. The Sopranos was like watching paint dry at its worst.
Really! Lol. I’ll give it a go anyway. I’ve heard they are planning a fourth season for next year so it must have done well on the back of breaking badI really like BCS but, if it’s even possible... it’s an even slower show!!
It wasn't a consistent problem with the show. Just one or two of the seasons were just a chore and very difficult to watch. I didn't actually binge watch those ones, in fact I almost abandoned the show all together because of them. It picked up again in the last season or 2, and I didn't have an issue binge watching it.Sopranos is the greatest tv show ever produced imo. It wasn’t exactly through choice!
Yes I agree on that I think from the start of season 3 to the finale it was incredible and the most addictive show I have ever watched. But I think season 1 and 2 just let it down for me and stop it from being the best show I’ve ever seen that would have to go to Sopranos for its quality over the entire 6 seasons. But Breaking bad is a very close second.I have said it before but in my opinion from the end of Season 3 to the finale season Breaking Bad is the best TV I have ever watched period.

I watched to the end of season 2 and just couldn't get over how ridiculous and silly it got. Going from a boring teacher to dissolving people in a bathtub after 2(?) episodes was just ridiculous.
So ridiculous after two episodes but watched the rest of the season anyway? K...
