Reacher - Amazon TV series 2022

Season 1 was good, Season 2 was abut 70% of Season 1, as for a spin off, depends who's involved, Neagley as a supporting character is ok, but given what we have seen of some of the things we've seen that are forced 'inclusion' stuff it could be really bad and damage the main show...
 
Season 2 was pretty terrible and they already think a supporting character that has the personality of a brick can hold a show, Jesus, they really have already ran out of ideas?
 
Neagley is decent, but Season 2 was too early for the 110th to get together IMO and some of the dialogue was bad, plus the overuse of "You do not mess with the special investigators"

Also the constant call/response which was supposed to be funny but was grating:

"I ever tell you you're smart, Neagley"
"Not nearly enough"

I'd agree with this, and that Neagley isn't a standalone character, unless they're going to invent a series with her and others from the "Special Investigators".

I didn't understand the choice of book for the second series, as there are far better Reacher options.

Possibly the intention all along was to introduce Neagley and be more inclusive whilst introducing a new main character. Possible cameos from Alan Ritchson??

Okay, so now I'm a book nerd, I got real excited when I saw Reacher and Paulie in this teaser :D


LC does quite a good job in the book of getting over Paulie's size. I think he was even referenced as the toughest fight Reacher's had in the most recent one I read (Worth Dying For)
