0.100s and they just have to react to a sound rather than spot something. Which means if you get below that you were guessing.

Bear in mind that light travels much faster than sound. Sound is only around ~340m/sec meaning that it takes around 30ms to travel 10m. Whereas for the light to travel from your screen to your eyes takes less than the degree of precision (0.001s) and thus is the effectively instantaneous for the purposes of this measurement.
