Look at the story of this thread.

You ask for car advice around 9am, then by 12 noon you have bought one - then within an hour your insurance arrives with the postman then two hours after that you post pics.
:D

He certainly gets things done.

no im still after a car , i just stated that i had already ordered a project car , then the thread got sidetracked. try reading the whole thread : /

as always its the quality of the posts by the non topic starter that makes me laugh :D

you said you ordered it and it will be here tomorrow, you actually meant you bought the car and are expecting the insurance to arrive tomorrow?
how did you get the car home? where is it now as its uninsured? or is it still on the forecourt ;]

depending on weather?
expecting a hurricane or a snow storm to stop post?

had bought it two weeks ago, was waiting for insurance certificate to come through, was expecting tomorrow , arrived today , took taxi to dealership (could have walked) , drove home... its not really that suspiscious.

It wouldn't be, had the context of the rest of the thread not been so sus.

why does your company car need to be practical when you have plenty of practical cars already?

it doesent , it would be a bonus however, by practical i mean can at least fit a small suitcase.

I asked that ages ago, he must've missed my post. ;)

Ah, then an mx-5 should be high on your list :)

In fact, I'm struggling to think of many cars that can't fit a small suitcase. Mayhap an Atom is beyond you, but everything else you should be OK with.

wow, you must have a different meaning to a lot of words then.

what gets me, is how you post about how you want another car, you post about your 530d, yet you neglected to post about a new project car you bought 2 weeks ago and are already planning a double supercharger on it.

i know i just new if i didnt write practical everyone would start posting get a westfield or a caterham. Im going to book a test drive in a Cayman when i go out later and then ill take it from there :)

Ok...

So you have a BMW 530d as what sort of car?

And you brought (sic) a new Merc.. as a project?

And now your getting a Porsche Cayman with the £400 your entitled to from your employer?

Sorry for the questions, but the thread is like trying to read cave paintings before fire.

You got the car home and washed it straight away? How odd.
