Hi I'm looking at getting a ready made system from overclockers and already send an email to them. What I'm after is some advice from anyone who's gone down this route and how their rig turned out and was there any hic-up anywhere.thanks for your time

I'd much prefer building one, more satisfaction and you have 100% control over the parts you choose and how you configure them.

Overclockers do very nice builds, comes at a price but you get what you pay for really.

How much are you thinking of spending?

thanks for your replies, yes I was just reading that thread, much prefer the single card.have windows 7 64 which I believe you can install on more than one computer ? so if I spent the full wack £1500-1600 whats the best I can get.

If this is just for gaming, then a 4670k would be enough. Unless you do any photo/video editing/rendering.

now all I've got to decide is build myself or not,I did build one about 5 years ago, really enjoyed it. but that was five years ago. just on a side note I take it all these parts will work together.thanks

As you can see, building it yourself, gives you more for the money.
Best thing to do is, choose a case that you really like and we can make changes to the spec. You could get a cheaper mobo, probably free up another £50.

one thing is it best to go for a sound card or just go for the on-board,any recommendation

Onboard sound seems to get better all the time with newer sockets. So I would`nt bother with a sound card, not until you have at least tried it.
Personally, I have never used one.

Hmmmmm yummy blue mATX build :D

OCUK offer to build systems for you don't they? So if you comprise a basket, checkout and give them the order number in the customer support they'll build it for you from the parts, at a price I think, but it'll work out cheaper and more powerful than a pre-built.
