"Real" D9E Specs

Thats the G100 tho, not the 9800 series thats out in a few months according to everywhere else. :(

Suppose we'll have to wait and see...

D9E is a 9 series card as far as I'm aware. Though with 1.8 (I'm assuming) billion transistors, the die will be huge, even at 55nm. And the number of shaders is insane compared to the 8800GTX?

If thats true, that card is insane...though the r700 will be out during the same time period with multi gpu cores...this is definitely the gen I will be upgrading to.

'384 shader processors'

Holy *language!*!

I'd've thought 256 would've been a more reasonable estimation but if that's true, nVidia is truely out doing themselves (and their cooling solutions...)

But oddly... I don't completely doubt this.

The only thing that does make me a little suspicious is:

TMUs 64

For the 8800 Ultra; I thought the G80 only had 32, but G92 had 64?

The one im waiting for, strange how they say its the 9800 GTX, yet according to everywhere else, the 9 series are just 1 year old 8 series refreshes.

Ahh well lets wait and see, but this could be a beast. :D

if these are the same sort of shader processors in the g80-g92 cards then wouldn't it drain like...400-600 watts on its own?

If ATI and Nvidia release there X2 type cards come next month, I dont think were gonna see any real next gen cards arrive till 2009.... just wouldnt make sense !

At any rate will get one of those and then wait and see ;)
