Only a quick one this, so I apologise.

Real, or CGI?

Bit of a debate about it.

Obviously the ones very close to the bottom are CGI ....well, do you know, not actually sure on that either!

I was hoping Tom might stumble in here, being the HDR fella and all that jazz :D Not my area of expertise!

It's possible someone made fake exif info but it's a lot of hassle to go to. Occam's razor.

Really? Does that automatically entail they came off a camera?

yes :) although exif can be faked but i really don't see that being the case here. they all look like photographs. they were shot with canon SLRs aside from the last shots which where shot with a digital medium format camera. probably just chopped them out and stuck them on the backgrounds which is why they look like cgi.

They are all real. Some are over processed studio shots which can look fake as all the background is purposeful and the reflections are all staged. The laters ones look like they might have been photoshopped.

I've seen a lot of CG cars and these pics don't really stand out to me as such. They are very well cleaned up either before or after the shots and the blue versions in the middle have had the backdrop added in at a later point.

So, they're CG in a touched up Photoshop way, not a 3D rendered aspect.
