Real VNC alternative?

Is there anything out there which is similar to Real VNC but gives me the option of sending files over too?

Must be free.

You can use remote desktop and connect your local drives to the remote machine in order to transfer files, bar that there are many programs like PcAnywhere and Laplink that will help you out.

Ultr@VNC has file transfer built in.

I use TightVNC because of its integration into echoVNC
