Fernando Torres (if ruud goes) tho i think that might be stretching realistic just a bit

Not to bothered about diarra, not for the money that lyon are asking anyway. Chelsea obviously thought essien was a better buy last year and he aint exactly lit the premiership

hopefully he will offer Boateng a new contract, and keep hold of Vids

maybe bring in another striker, someone like Gudjohnsen (like said previously underrated by mourinho)

and id like to see a good right winger, morrison isnt ready yet, maybe bring in someone with a bit of experience for Morrison to learn off a little, cant think of any names atm, i would like to see pennant here, but i can see him going to a bigger club.

and a new centre half, someone who can come in to partner Riggott at the back, as southgate wont play all this season i can see him sitting back and leaning into a coaching role. Abdoulaye Meite has been mentioned on sky sports to be leaving Marseille with both boro & bolton watching him.

I'd love Riqueme although Fergie's South American purchases have been a complete disaster so far. Coincidence or not?
 
I would like ot see penannt simply as cover for Ronaldo, I dont think Park is good enough TB, the left hand side isnt so bad with Giggs and Richardson but with Birmingham relegated a decent bid would get him and he is a god winger who is skillful on the ball, quick and unlike ronaldo has a end product, certainly would be a good buy imho.

as for Riqu I wuould have much preferred Rosicky, but Arsenal nabbed him.

As a Liverpool fan I cannot believe you genuinely would like to see Gudjohnsen in our team! Shame on you.

Of those, I would say Pennant, Kuyt and possibly Bent are realistic targets. However, I imagine we will only get Pennant+ one of those two. All depends on whether we can get rid of Cisse.

He puts crosses in, he doesnt arse around, yes he can beat a man IF HE NEEDS TO, but if he doesnt he whips a cross in, Ronaldo does nothing but get on my nips.

I'd actually prefer to see Park given more starts in preference over Ronaldo. I honestly wouldn't mind if Fergie offloaded Ronaldo. He's the most frustrating, over-rated player i have ever seen. Shame on Gary Neville and the rest of the players for raving over him so much when they played against him!
 
Im hoping he has a storming WC and then comes back and starts delivering for us

He makes my blood boil one minute then makes me smile like a drunk monkey the next

I reccomended pennant last year for this reaosn befor ehe signed for birmingham, he really has a lot of potential and unde rthe right manangement would be a very good and astute buy. he would certainly give cover to the wings.

we do need at least 2 CM though as the current ones cant cut it.

I think one area we are strong in is the defence, Vidic and Ferdinand will blossom this season, and could potaentially become one of the strongest CB pairings in the league. With heinze and Neville thats one helluva a back four with plenty of cover in the form of Brown / silvestre / evra / spector / bardsley / Pique.

Upfront I think we are pretty much sorted as long as we keep Ruud, we would have 4 class strikers and 2 backup. Smtih / Ha Ha / Rooney / RvN with Rossi and Solskjaer as well.

But we need to sort the CM out despearately. Gattuso or someone of that ilk and preferably a attack minded CM as well in the mould of Riqu.

Spot on about the defence and forwards. Just need those all important CM's, then we got a team!
