Realistic targets you would like to ....

Arsenal:

Woodgate
Given

what the hell??

Woodgate - injured all his life, how would anyone be stupid enough to sign him
Given - Lehman is better in my opinion and is good for at least another season, anyway Given just signed a new contract.

As a Liverpool fan I cannot believe you genuinely would like to see Gudjohnsen in our team! Shame on you.

Of those, I would say Pennant, Kuyt and possibly Bent are realistic targets. However, I imagine we will only get Pennant+ one of those two. All depends on whether we can get rid of Cisse.

You have to look at the bigger picture. Ok he is a Chelsea player but he brings a hell of a lot to the table. If Xabi or Gerrard get injured or suspended for a few games, he is superb cover in the midfield. He is a fantastic play maker in the Sheringham mould with brilliant sheringham like vision and first touch. He is also a good striker and "MOST IMPORTANTLY" he is proven in the Premiership.

Gudjonsen would be the top of my priority if I were Rafa.( you may reply I'm glad your not ) but....

We have limited resources financially so its important that transfers are made with good proven Premiership players. Players that are comfortable out of position, and that come with good work ethic, something that he has been conditioned to do under Mourinho.

I don't want to see another Morientes, big name big money can't live in the Premiership.

Eidur would be a brilliant acquisition, but yet again I can see Man U getting him and him being superb for them next season!!!

Liverpool:

Torres (or Kuyt)
Kuyt or Bellamy
Alves or SWP

We definantly need 1 top class striker; i prefer Torres and will need another striker if we sell Cisse, preferably Kuyt but i wouldnt have thourght we could afford both Torres and Kuyt so the second would be Bellamy. And we need a RM, Pennant is very average and i would be ****** off if we got him, from what ive seen of Alves he looks really good (and can cover RB) or SWP but i wouldnt be suprised if the rumours that JM wont sell to Liverpool or Arsenal are actually true

Gudjohnsen scored 2 goals in the prem this season, 12 last season and 6 the season before that. The most he has ever managed is 14 and that was in the 2001/02 season. We need a goal machine.

Granted, he is a good player with premiership experience but not what we need. There is no way he could step in for xabi or stevie in midfield- they are light years ahead of him. Besides, we have Didi and Momo as midfield cover. With the addition of a right winger I imagine stevie will drop back into midfield with one of alonso or sissoko partnering him so we should be okay there if anything happens to stevie or xabi.

Plus he is a cheat who got Xabi suspended from the semi-final! :p

Gudjohnson is a very good link man in a team, impeccable first touch, fantastic composure, has a good eye for a through ball and can still knock in a few goals a season. I really like him as a player! :D

Liverpool:

Looking forward to seeing our new signings play finally:
Gonzalez
Paletta
Aurelio (As good as done)

But also for targets i would like to see:

Alves
Riquelme

and two out of:

Kuyt
Torres
Defoe
Aguero

Pennant is a possibility as well, but unlikely if we sign Alves.

Newcastle:

Kuyt
Bent
Torres (maybe a swap deal involving luque+cash)
Defoe
Campbell
Woodgate (We should have first choice on him)

Id be happy with some of them for next season

Man United

Esteban Cambiasso
Diarra
Ribery
Riquelme
Duff
Nuri Sahin
Aaron Lennon
Diarra

That will take care of our **** midfield

Sell:
Fletcher
Fortune
Scholes - he's blind!
Silvestre
Evra
Richardson
O'Shea
Smith
Spector
Solskjaer

give Evra a chance, hes played hardly any games last season and give him time to adjust to the premiership. smith is a good back up striker(much better than saha imo which you dont have in your sell).

Joey Barton and a CB who doesn't have a name!! Would also like to see Franck Ribery at TNHoF.

I was also going to mention Joey Barton, but I thought I'd have been slaughtered, good choice matey. :)

If Sol goes, then we'd need at least one other CB.

Rumours are that Poom is actually the one behind Lehmann's incredible goalkeeping display this season.

He has been teaching him. :)
