really am stuck

***bump*****

turns out it was my power supply on the blink changed for one in the garage
pc boots up.im now in the bios and ram gets reconised,,omg i need to cancell that order asap

problen now is i set it to boot of dvd drive and its not dectecting my vista cd in the drive

any advise plz???
 
sata dvd???, if so theres been a lot of post on here compaining about this issue with the windows cd :( im afraid i cant help you here, only thing i can say is if sata, then use IDE :)
 
omg the os is installing,,i fixed the cd drive problem

now onto my next problem

my new case the p182 se has no speaker connection to the mobo,
im not getting no post beeps

all i see on case is a hd or ac97 connection but there not gonna fit nxt to the power/reset etc connections

so what i do??????? apart from never try build a pc again,,,lolz,,tbh i built 3 systems and this is a nightmare one :(
 
i had a few problems with a mates which was the same mobo, the problems were mostly the power, there is a 4 pin that has a black cover on it make sure u remove the cover and plug the 4 pin 12v in, this caused me no end of probs lol
 
i see where u mean,,that the atx power,,i fine with just 4 pin,,i left the black cover on,,,
all i need is the post beeps,,the case i have has no speaker connection,,how gey is that????
 
another day another host of problems......

ok all 3 hdd in and reconised no raid set up atm
os in and running quite well vista x64
evrything is good apart from..........

my ps/2 keyboard works untill i try to type anything on screen at desktop,then it frezes screen and i gotta do ctrl,alt,dlte
to get to task manager and then all is fine untill i try type again,
also

still have no post beeps cannot find speaker connection on case
