REALLY Hot Chilli Sauce?

Thanks for the further suggestions, although I think I've decided that I'm going to try and make my own :p It will be a more fun and personal gift. :)

I have found your sauce thread Glaucus: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18208397&highlight=Glaucus+sauce

I have also found this recipe which looks similar in a way but hotter which is what I want: http://www.gyoveg.com/worlds-hottest-chili-sauce.html

What do you guys think of that recipe?

The only problem is, I don't know where to buy Naga chillies! Can I get them fresh online? I'm sure I'd be able to get Scotch Bonnets from a supermarket. Anyone know where I can get Nagas? I've had a quick look online but can only see dried or powder which wouldn't be as good I think.

1 x Hot Headz Who Dares Burns Hot Pepper Sauce £4.49
1 x Ass Kickin' Mini Collection £3.99
1 x Chillipepper Pete's Naga Headhunter Sauce £3.99

Just ordered those :D

Anyone suggest something to try my new sauces with? Would normally just cook up a big chilli and whack it in, but I fancy something a bit different, maybe some snacks I can dip in them or something?

What would you pros suggest?

Certainly hotter than insanity though.

Are you sure we're talking the same sauce here? Lol. I eat a lot of spicy foods/sauces and the ghost pepper one knocked me for six.

Yes, i have a very high tolerance it seems. I also got Mongoose hot sauce but that was rubbish. Satan's Revenge! Naga Chilli Sauce is a fave of mine at the minute.
Im trying Cajohn's Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Puree next. I have a few extract based sauces but there purely for adding to other sauces.

Dave's Insanity is the hottest I've gone but, like Glaucus, it gives me real stomach gripe. It's also pretty tasteless; I think it just tastes like paprika and doesn't add anything of value to your food other than heat. I've also noticed it loses its heat after a few weeks, not sure why that is.

Mad dog 359 and Satan's **** are the most piquant sauces I have tasted but they use chilli extract in it which is cheating. You can get some nice sauces from these places:

Chilli Pepper Pete
South Devon Chilli Farm
Fat Man Chilli

OP - I have sent a link to a YouTube video via trust which is a review of Satan's ****. Enjoy!

Haha nice video :p thanks

I've ordered some Naga chillies from eBay

funny you mention that, im off round town and specifically the market on Friday, to try and get some x-mas presents sorted. That was on my to do list already.

Haha small world its a great shop only been there once but bought a lot from there online.

This thread has made me go back and watch loads of you tube vids of people doing stupid amounts of hot sauce and fresh chills and came across a vid that has said the 16 Million SHU Capsaicin Powder is getting made illegal to sell/import/export in feb next year so anyone who thinks they are brave watch this and if you wanna buy go here as you won't be able to get it after feb as it is dangerous.

Goes well on most pizzas, also a bowl of tuna and pasta with mayo or a cheesy sauce.

For general cooking I generally prefer http://www.enconasauces.co.uk/product/5/Encona-West-Indian-Original-Hot-Pepper-Sauce.htm

But I put it on pretty much everything :D

I was walking in Rome and suddenly walked past this tiny little shop and all it sold was chilli products (they grow their own in Tuscany). I bought a couple of sauces and some pate'. They have an absolutely amazing spicy sauce that has chilli, garlic and salt as the main ingredients. It's hot (but not uncomfy). They do have extreme heat but most of what they were selling was for dipping or adding to snacks. I've had the insanity sauce and I manage a drop on the end of my finger and that is enough.

I'd recommend the Scotch Bonnet Pate and chilli and garlic:
