I'm hovering over the order button for the following spec...

The main question is, is 4GB RAM going to work well running Win XP Pro 32-bit edition? Or do i just purchase 2GB as i don't really want Vista yet.

I've heard it can only see 3GB of it or 3.5GB?!

Answers on a postcard please. ;)

Have a look at the Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3 667MHz Dual People have had them @1000 MHZ 4,4,4,12, only £67.
 
Using a 32-bit o/s you will only see 3-3.5gb of memory. Unless you specifically need it, 2gb should be plenty.

The rest of your spec looks good to me, so go with 2gb and you'll be fine I reckon.
 
ahh, cheers for clearing that up. :)

Think im just going to go for the 2GB.

Can anyone else spot anything they would change on that spec?

Also, if im to order now would it arrive on Tuesday?
