Really stupid question: Do I need a new rear tyre?

I guess about 3k by the time I'm all the way to the wear indicators too , used everyday up and down dual carrigways and some hefty acceleration now and again.

Those M5's look good but I am a bit put off when you say they feel heavy when cold as I ride all year round . THe 2CT's feel good from the off and once warm are very confidence inspiring.there also very good in the wet

I hope there the pilot road 2's , I had pilot roads on my 750 and didn't like them TBH felt very slippery when cold and in the wet. the 2' are supposed to be a lot better though.

They're the 3's :)

How's the new tyres ??

The new rear's rather good. I've had it mostly in the sun and the occasional rainy day and it's been very confidence inspiring. No signs of wear yet, but I guess it's only done a couple hundred miles so far. I've leaned it right over on certain bends and it's been rock solid.

I've had the front feel a little squirmish here and there so I'll have a look at that one next. Currently, I'm tempted to replace the front with a PR3 as well.

Glad to hear that as I've just ordered myself one;) Got a Power 2ct on the front with about half its life left , I've heard the Road 3 is realy good and as I mostly commute I wanted the extra milage it will give.

I've got the road 3s fitted, only done a couple of hundred miles so far but they're feeling really good. Been out in hot sun and pouring rain and they were great in both situations unlike the dunlops which were fitted previously
