I've been playin pc games for at least the last 9 yrs now and I've upgraded countless times in the past but now I'm really torn as to what to do about my current PC. I brought a 6800GS a couple of months ago to replace my ageing 5900FX (both AGP) in an attempt to make my pc last another year but I'm finding that my cpu seems to be a bit of a lame duck these days. As you can guess to upgrade my pc is gonna cost a fair bit :( . I've been looking at the A64 3700 and the Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 mobo which will cost about £150 ish but I fear that I'm gonna be wasting my money on just a stop gap. I've also been looking at the Xbox 360 as a way to kinda replace my gaming but I know I'm gonna miss my pc games, which I cant play at the speeds I want to now, and also the price of the games for the 360 is a joke. So I 'd thought I make a quick post hear to ask you guys as to what you would do?

It all depends whether you want a totally new and fresh pc or just to keep upgrading your current one.

What sort of budget do you have to work with? Or is the £150 you mentioned it?

Nah lol I've already tried that twice, I didnt get a single bloody phone call!. BTW if I got the CPU and mobo would I get a decent FPS increase in my games such as Oblivion,Ghost recon and Allied Force?
