Realtek Digital Output

I already did explain the essentials in my other posts, it’s straight forward and it has already been resolved, I need a sound card with the 3 jacks on it as my crappy mother board does not have them. If you are going to help read the beginning of the thread don’t just dive in and say silly things

I only just got back to this but... you only mentioned Gigabyte 12th gen. It was only later you specified it was the Z690 Aorus Elite AX. Gigabyte has loads of different boards for Intel 12th Gen all with different sound outputs. And you didn't make it clear you had analogue 5.1 speakers, just that you wanted to know why digital wasn't working.

As above though, looks like either a soundcard with the right jacks or a new set of speakers with optical will be the right fix.
