Hi there everyone, hopefully I can get this sorted with the help of this community.

I signed with a UK ISP called Lightspeed broadband. I took 1Gbps FTTP package.

When I use my 14 Pro Max wifi I get over 600 on upload and download. However I just connected my ethernet via cat7 cable from the router (ONT is built into it) to the pc and my stats show that it is as follows

Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 100/100 (Mbps)

IPv6 address: na

Link-local IPv6 address: fe80::75db:a7c4:45d6:285d%7

IPv6 DNS servers: fe80::1%7 (Unencrypted)

IPv4 address: 192.168.1.50

IPv4 DNS servers: 192.168.1.254 (Unencrypted)

Manufacturer: Realtek

Description: Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller

Driver version: 1168.15.717.2023

Physical address (MAC): 58-11-22-2B-42-C8

My drivers are up to date as per realtek website I am using the latest version. I am using AMD AM4 X570 motherboard.

On the network settings I have enabled 1Gbps speed and duplex. I have switched off energy saver and gigabit lite as per google suggestions. I have looked all over the place and some suggested that this could be the cable? I have checked all over the place and so solution yet.

I would set it to Auto negotiation rather than telling it to use 1Gpbs
