I have a 2007 Mazda 3 and whenever I go over a speed bump, there is a creaking noise coming from what I assume must be the rear suspension. It seems to happen when I haven't used the car for a while and slowly lessens as the car warms up and has been driven for a while.
The noise isn't very loud but loud enough to be annoying. Apart from that though, there doesn't seem to be any issue with the car and it's been like this for several months without problem.
I've heard many other cars make this noise, so I'm guessing it's a common issue but have no clue as to what causes it, so would really appreciate some input on this. Also, how much would I be looking to get it fixed?
