Hey guys,

Was not sure where to post this.

When starting my computer sometimes,I get the message..

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected"

Its not all the time, maybe every say 10 start ups,It boots into windows fine then all of a sudden i start the system and get that message.

Its weird because if i hit restart then it restarts and boots normal.

Ive checked my boot options in Bios,My Raid SSDs are first...and theres never anything in the DVD drive.

Any idea?

Check the SATA Cables for unhealthly looking bends. Also error check the Raid Array. It could be a simple error in a file for windows which has a lot to do with the boot process, meaning when you restart it does not have to write to this file. Pop in your Windows7 Disc and select repair :)

Here's a guide: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

It mentions everything that will be lost and everything that will be kept :)

Not really any harm in trying except the fact you have to reinstall drivers, but all programs should stay as noted in the link.
