Yeah. It started to get too "dark" for CITV so they just ended it abruptly in the middle of a season without any explanation.
There are 4 seasons to ReBoot.
CITV stopped showing it half way through Season 3. Right before it got totally EPIC.
Matrix (older Enzo) and AdrAIa, joins up with 'The Crimson Binome' to search for Bob in the web, they eventually find him where he has taken on the identity of a Web Rider called 'Interface', they head back to Mainframe and they are attacked by Pixels. Bob merges with Glitch to become GlitchBob:
GlitchBob leads Matrix, AndrAIa, The Surfer, and the crew of the Saucy Mare back into Mainframe.
When they arrive the system is in tatters, there is a big flashback scene showing how after Bob was launched in the Web and Enzo was trapped in the Games, Megabyte began to win the war for Mainframe.
Eventually using Hexadecimal as a weapon he was able to access the Principal office and capture Phong and claim the system as MegaFrame.
Dot and Mouse have been running an underground resistance striking back at MegaByte praying that Bob/Enzo would return someday to save them.
When GlitchBob, Matrix, and AndrAIa return they team up with Dot and Mouse to reclaim the city.
Matrix is now only driven by hate for MegaByte, for banishing Bob, for costing him his childhood and friends and family...
Eventually a plan is hatched Matrix meets up with MegaByte, whereas before MegaByte was the strongest (physically) sprite/virus in Mainframe, the years of training Matrix has put in have turned little Enzo into a match for him.
Queue epic fight scene with Matrix and Megabyte battering seven shades out of each other inside the levels of Principal office, and finally up onto the roof, where finally Matrix has Megabyte at his mercy and is about to deliver the killer blow he realises what he is doing is wrong, and that at as a Guardian he can't just mercelessly slaughter MegaByte... and insteads subjects Megabyte to the same fate he had placed on Bob and he banishes him into the Web.
Meanwhile Bob is in the Core trying to stop the system from Crashing due to years of MegaBytes destructive ways and the war raging on.
The season ends with Bob rebooting the OS while archiving all the sprites in their current form, thus returning Mainframe to its former glory while saving everyones lives.
Season 4 consists of two 4 episode long movies.
The first is 'Daemon Rising', which is about the supervirus Daemon, who has infected the Supercomputer and has corrupted all the Guardians... appart from Bob (due to him merging with Glitch), and Enzo due to him being stuck in the Games.
Together with the help of Hexadecimal they take the fight to Daemon...
The second film is 'My Two Bobs' which is about a second Bob arriving in Mainframe that looks like the original Bob. Both are trying to woo Dot, but there is more going on than meets the eye, as eventually it is found out that the 2nd Bob is infact MegaByte, back from the web, corrupted, and deadlier than ever... the film ends on a cliffhanger... and that's where it has stayed for the last few long long years...

Didn't it end with Megabyte saying "The hunt is on" with Bob and Dot trapped in the corridors of the principles office?
Awesome! will it be the same rendering as the first 4 seasons or are they re doing it?
Hope not! it sas perfect as it was.
