This may be a little confusing but what I want to do is as follows.

I currently use BT openzone where I live and I want to rebroadcast it vis my desktop via a wireless router (D-Link DSL-2640S to be precise).

I want to recieve my bt openzone via my usb wireless network adapter, then through my desktop I want to connect my wireless router to the ethernet port and broadcast the internet via my router.

Is this possible?

Are there any router settings that will need to be changed? NAT on ect...

All help will be appreciated.

To make it simple

BT open zone---->wireless usb adapter---->Desktop (logged onto my btopenzone)---->onboard ethernet nic---->Dlink router---> My laptop connected with internet without logging into btopenzone

I believe if you select both the wireless network adapter and your onboard network adapter (control panel and network connections on XP or control panel - network and sharing center - change adapter settings on Vista and W7), right click and select bridge it should bridge both connections and pass-through your internet connection along with it
