Description

Gather survivors of the zombie apocalypse and manage food supplies, housing and morale while defending against undead attacks. Reclaim the city one square at a time and put your survivors to work scavenging for food, building houses, rediscovering technology and of course killing zombies. Beware of rival gangs, wild dogs, food thieves and even riots as you manage a city in this post apocalyptic turn based strategy game.

Controls

Mouse controls everything. Arrow keys and wasd also moves the map, space or enter closes some menus.

wow theres a lot put into this flash game, is there a way i can get it into full screen?
game reminds me of xcom - apocalypse with the day-by-day and the building system :D
 
There is a link to the developers to get full screen, probably have to pay or something.

Just played through and got 4 endings, pretty interesting for a play.
 
Did my first game in London with the leader as Boris Johnson... who i accidently got killed about 10 turns in ><

Quite a good game, Normal was a bit easy though once i got past a certain point. Balances things nicely between having to defend and having to push out to avoid being overwhelmed.

is it possible to take over EVERY square? i have 13 squares left to take over but no matter how many times i attack them i don't get the option to take over the spot any more :confused:

i have done the whole 'government thing' and the game 'ended' there but i wanted to carry on to see what happens if i take everything, is it not possable to get a 'total' victory???
 
yeah it can be done, I got my 1st ending with government win then got 3 more using the same game including capturing every tile.

I must have had about 30 soldiers and just hit each tile with 5 soldiers each, it can take a few runs to completely clear a tile before you can reclaim it.

I think zombies spread out from tiles so its best to hit a block together.

Got a ending for clearing their portal tile and a science ending too.

Any know of any more?
 
There are 4 possible ways to finish (as far as i know).

Capturing the town hall and creating the government (Leadership)
Researching a cure (Science)
Destroying the zombie portal (Combat)
Capturing every square on the map (Expansionist)

Both the town hall and portal zone require multiple attacks to finally kill off enough zombies. Might be similar for other tiles on higher difficulties, i dunno. Think i finished at around 100 turns completing both the Portal and Science roughly the same time, then decided to conquer the map and eventually found the city hall which i took as the last place and had to skip 10 turns to do the win that way by turn 139.
 
ok done it!!!

i missed the last 'zomvie cure' research, game got easier after that :D
i missed the close portal bit too, i thought i just had to take the square and that was it!

was playing late into the night so i was very tired so i think thats why i missed bits :o
its good how it saves the game too, how is this done? and where is the file so i can keep it?
 
180 turns done eveyrthing

once you ahve the cure though it was just a send two scientists to reclai mland sort fo thing, no threat.
 
I found to take out all the zombies on Normal I sent in 20 soldiers, that cleared it out nicely for me to reclaim next day.

Zombies will re-enter zones after you have cleared it if you don't reclaim straight away :)
 
Shattered Colony annoys me, on the bigger maps your resources seem to get stuck in depots miles away from the action unless you abandon them and regather the resources. It's a proper pain.

The guy has updated it quite a bit. I played it when it first came out and it was like that. Seems a lot easier now to move stuff around. You can tell a depot to gather resources from other depots.
