Make sure if you are going to stream mkv's from the synology that you get one with a beefy cpu, some of the older models with the Marvell Kirkwood mv6281 cpu can't handle the load, I know my 409 goes to 100% cpu on some mkv's so I've switched to just using the Synology as a storage device and streaming using Serviio
