I'm looking for a monitor for my following system:
Intel core i7 6700k @ 4.6ghz
MSI GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming motherboard
16gb DDR4 Corsair LED @ 3000mhz
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW
EVGA g2 supernova 650w 80+ gold PSU

Currently i'm stuck using a 60hz 1080p 42" TV (not ideal) but it is a reasonably modern one so doesn't distort text and holds the image quite well..
I'm looking for a 1440p or an ultrawide 144hz monitor so i can have multiple windows open at once, I'm studying a BSc Hons degree in web development and programming so multiple windows is essential..
Most suitable monitors ive seen all cost north of £600, but i'm a bit reluctant to spend more than £500, does anyone have any recommendations on this?
