im after a 2nd hd
the one i have now is a maxtor 230gig and im after another to replace this as then put all my 100000's of photos on the maxtor
looking for a good, reliable, yet cheap 500+gig drive
any reccoms please

Hi mate, my recommendation would be the following:

" Samsung SpinPoint F1 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502IJ)"

It's the cheapest of the 500GB+ SATA drives, it's also 1 of the fastest as well as being super quiet (read the Reviews for it within OcUK's shop mate). I've got the 1TB version in my 2nd PC (it's a HTPC) & it rocks.
