Reccomend me some good series' please

My other half got me 'Life on Mars' on DVD and I have to say, its fantastic. Those that haven't seen the show should do so. Top notch.
 
As has been mentioned "Bones" is great. I also think "Alias" is one of the best series of recent years.

The second series of "Primeval" just started tonight on ITV.

The Unit (awesome show if into war drama) Series 1 and 2 can be had on DVD 3 currently on in America although stopped at moment due to writers strike.

Watching The Wire at the moment, so far so good, but it'll have to do a lot to take the crown of best TV series from The West Wing :p

On a lighter note, I'm enjoying Reaper (the new Kevin Smith show), and Breaking Bad (with the dad from Malcolm In The Middle).

Pushing Daisies aint bad either, though not quite everyones cup of tea i imagine

and if you haven't allready, I'm finding the Sarah Conner Chronicles to be pretty good so far
 
Breaking Bad is shaping up nicely.
Obscure/short lived but worth a watch : Profit, Vr5, Dark Skies, The Visitor, Odyssey 5,Carnivale & Jeremiah.
Lastly and imo, the very best two shows ever made: Chicago Hope & Sunset Beach (unlikely to find either I would guess sadly).
