im thinking of going wireless.

got an NTL broadband box to my main PC.

i want to use the broadband on another PC so i need to share this connection. i only need the broadband connection on the other PC when this PC is on and in use really.

any suggestions? i know i need a router, and a couple of wireless network cars/USB things.

im totally out of my depth with this as ive never explored wireless before and so dont know decent brands etc.

oh, one PC is running win XP, the other one win 98.

The Linksys WRT54G router is a good one, as long as you have a eathernet port on your pc. You need to have a earthernet cable come out your pc into the line port on the router and then you can share you internet connection, files and printer of that pc. Also it is Win 98 compatible. It has data rates up to 54 Mbps and uses 128-bit WEP encryption, MAC, or IP address filtering for security. It has a 4 port switch too so you can have 4 pcs plugged in via ethernet. And to recive the wireless on the other pc i recommed using a Linksys WUSB11 Wireless-B USB Network Adapter, as its easy to install just plug it into a spare USB port, also its Win 98 compatible. Hope this helps..
