As the title says i received these this morning and as there are no reviews I'd like to inform you all how awesome they are for £100!!!

I mean, I was a bit worried as there are not many reviews, oh am I happy that I took the risk. I previously owned the Corsair Sp2500 so I wanted something similar and these C2Xds surely are. Punchy bass and crisp sound. You can control the bass and the treble so you can have a nice balance. The Corsair SP2500, you couldn't do this and sometimes the bass would be a bit too much. I still enjoyed them but as these C2XD are only £100, its a steal.

If anyone is looking for a decent budget system, I'd recommend the Edifier C2XD.

I'm no audiophile but I can tell what is awful sound and what isn't.

They have other models as well but they are tricky to come across. I'm very happy with them at the moment. Surely they'll sound even better once I've worn them in.

@WuMyster, sorry my mistake. Should have corrected that wording. I could turn down the bass on Sp2500.

The Edifier allows you to control bass and treble which helps to give you the perfect balance. Besides that the unit is very appealing too.

I've been hunting for those speakers at good price at other places for a while and seen a few reviews. They are really good. However I found a deal on Z906 for £169 so decided you get more for your money with Logitech.
Problem is that I've decided to sell my Z906 and managed to make £50 on them so I'm back to looking at buying those bad boys again

I have the SP2500, and I think that there's not really need to have treble, as the pop profile is pretty much spot on. Most of the time if someone think there's not enough treble while using this profile, it is more likely because of excessive bass drown-out the treble due to poor balance.

With that set, I have just retired my SP2500, and upgrade to a pair of KEF E301 to use with my Creative X7, and this thing sound amazing! It has incredible clean details and very good soundstage, and deliver very agile punch bass. But the speakers only go downs to 90Hz, so it would be lacking the "rumble" type bass from sound effects...but I got a sub hooked up to the X7 as well, so it addressed that short-coming :p

I can see totally see why the KEF EGG (the active version of the E301 with feature such as bluetooth, optical in and the option to hook a sub directly to it)) have received 5-stars award on whathifi.
