Received negative feedback on eBay

I had a similar experience and ebay didn't want to know. I'm now back up to 100% as the feedback vanished after one year, but if you scroll through all my feedback it still appears there somewhere. Guy was a total moron

whu u ddint mension on list.. i phone is allrady changed screen brother i though faulty means ... i=may be battery is gone now u allready chaged and tried with some one..

Looks suspicially like Tefal's writing.

Received my first negative recently out of 135 sales. I sold a phone and in the listing I stated that it was faulty and that the screen had recently been replaced with another one off eBay. Some guy won it and then a week later I get a negative saying "dont bid or buy abything from him. not describe properly".

I sent him a message asking what was wrong with the phone and he replied with...

Erm, what?

After many messages later, it appears he's mad because the screen was replaced and apparently he didn't know about it, despite it clearly stating it in the listing...

Is there any chance of ever getting the negative removed? I've asked him to change it but he wants £30, the cheeky ****.

Sigh. :o

Sounds like a dirty, illiterate immigrant or some council estate white trash.

Ignore it, it disappears after a 6 months or a year anyway.

i recieved bad feedback for a tv i listed as spares/repair and the guy left bad feedback saying that it didnt work

Don't sweat it. Your feedback percentage is only calculated on feedback in the past 6 months, so it'll drop off soon enough. Leave a response explaining what happened, and any buyer with half a brain will see that it wasn't your fault. 1 transaction isn't going to kill any chance of you selling more stuff.

The reply you leave to negatives says more than the feedback itself. Especially when it is gibberish! As for the feedback percentage, it drops off after 12 months. Thats how long it is visible for.

Yeah, pretty sure that the cool-down is 12 months for feedback percentages. I had someone leave me a neutral for an old projector whose case was cracked (but fully functioning), when I stated exactly that in the listing. It took a year for the neutral to drop off.
