I hear of this happening all the time, exspecialy with talk talk, I would keep it, but expect a lot of people to say you will burn in hell if you do :(
See no evil hear no evil.....

keep it for a few months, if they don't ask for it back then sell it.

By law your meant to phone them up, but who does that.

I was told that the law says, if you did not order an item but it arrives, then you must return it. However if you did place an order and an item of greater value than the one you ordered or more than one item arrives then you are able to keep it so long as the company fails to contact you.

happened to my son at christmas ordered a sony 2gb pocket mp3 for his mum and they sent the 20gb mahoosive mp3 player. kept schtum amd his mum thinks he spent loads on her. lucky git. never happened to me :(

You have it the wrong way around.

If no order was placed, then it is considered to be a gift and you can keep it.
If you placed an order and more than 1 item or the wrong item is delivered you are meant to phone the company and let them know. They then have x numbers of days to arrange collection. If they haven't in that period it then becomes yours.

Ah right, my mistake. :p

Keep it, their a bunch of ***** anyway.

Murder to talk to on the phone, half of them dont talk english, the technical helpline which is 50p a min or so is totally useless.

Don't swear! I will NOT tollerate such language. I suggest you read the FAQs before you come back. FF.

That's not true, you don't have to phone them. But if you do, it just means that they have less time to organise return of the product i.e. paying return costs etc.

Huh? It's stealing, even if it's from some huge nameless conglomerate. They sent you something you didn't buy. It's like being given too much change by a cashier at the store. Keeping is is theft and it's wrong.

Phone them up and tell them they've made a mistake. Ask them if they want to pay for you to ship it back to them.

As far as i usually am concerned if i didnt sign for something then i never recieved it. Simple as that.
