Update

I've just noticed with smart guardian my cpu volts have gone from 1.56 to 1.6v!!, so I stopped my prime and rebooted, and the volts have gone higher in the bios also??? it was showing this morning 1.56, now showing 1.6??? anyone know why this would happen after 10 hrs prime?
I have lowered them to 1.52v and also lowered NB and HTT volts 1 notch.

I wouldnt trust the readings from CPU-Z, smart guardian or even from the bios reading tbh. The closest idea you'll get without a multimeter is what it's actually set at in the bios.

Update stable

Have you got any motherboard software that you can use to monitor voltage?
Thought thats what smart guardian did? I've never had this before, it's weird, but it must be right if bios and smart guardian have same reading's, I also checked AmD cool and quiet was disabled and it is.

Now prime stable at 2707 14.5 hrs 1.52volts cpu, temps around 42c, and still going, I think my earlier higher clocks where held back by either/or The HTT/NB voltages to low, so I will try around 2750 once I achieve 24hrs Prime

Update

Just reporting back, 24 hrs prime stable with above setting 2707, I think it's to hot now to be testing max cpu overclock

Well all is good down this end aswell :)

I'm at 2.7 stable, with stock volts. (255x11). And this is on a ASRock mobo :/

I guess it's safe to say these are a good batch, go buy! :p

im guessing that the performance difference between the 3700 @ 2.7 and my winnie 3000@ 2.7 will be next to nothing, right?

ive got a 3500+ @ 2617MHz that does super pi in 35.2s that has 512k l2 and a 3700+ when it was @ 2650MHz that did super pi 1mb in 33.5s - both boards have same chipset and both have the same memory timings set.

I bought the 3700 for a friend to build his new PC and even at stock speed its surprising fast. I bet the 3700 will overclock to 2.6Ghz+ but since its in a shuttle XPC, its best to leave it now as I don't want any heat issues.

I have a KAB2E 0549BPAW and I have ran 2.65ghz @1.50vcore, I just whacked the vcore up and did not test lower volts, Prime Stable 'Small FTT's' for 8 hours and 1 run of OCCT. I'm trying 2.7ghz now at the same settings.
