Are you selectively sharpening areas as well or? My problem is that I go through phases of liking certain styles when ideally I want something that suits everything. This however doesn't seem to exist hence people specialise in subject and style.

not really. The perception of sharpness comes from all of the micro contrast all over the image. Just dodge and burn to create more contrast and it will appear a lot more sharper to the viewer. But i obviously applied some overall sharpness to the whole image but i masked out the blurred water because you dont want and sharpness noise there

Since it's very late at night I'll post a few shots i did for the easter recently. NSFW warning

I like these. Very well done. The nearest I've got to doing something as remotely exciting as this was when I bumped in to a semi clad female doing yoga in a field. Excellent.

Edit: Can you provide a bit of background story to the shots? Thank you.

Thank you! There's a mix of both commercial and TFP work. The fashion shots were editorial projects for clothing designers. The last couple I posted were from a TFP project a few days ago. I am exploring Richmond and surrounding areas for potential shooting locations. It's super convenient for me as I live there and that girl replied to my casting and she lives in Chiswick so it's easy and not far for her to travel as well.

Landscape shots all have interesting stories about how they were taken. The two from the lake district at the top of the page were taken on probably the worst possible day for that, it was raining pretty bad and the sky was just one massive plain grey cloud. We parked and girls refused to even come out of the car so me and my mate just hiked for about 200m up the mountain river near the car park. Took a few decent shot and knew I was done there :D We were back to the car in less than half an hour.
