Hey, so I recently updated bits of my PC. Swopped out my 3.5 Harddrives to 2.5. But now I'm struggling to find 3.5" Sata To Usb Hard Drive Caddy Hdd Case Enclosure that works with windows 10. I purchased 2 so far. They register in Manage, but I get errors. When I look at products descriptions they don't support windows 10. I've googled many times. It really can't be this difficult to find what I need... can it?

Can't do links on here but type in "USB 3.0 BLACK 2.5 SATA to USB HARD DRIVE CADDY HDD CASE ENCLOSURE BOX" to the Bay of E, the one that is £5.41. I have two of these and they both work fine on my W10 devices as external drives, these are pretty standard though so I don't know why your current ones aren't working to be honest...

Just wondering, do you have any 2.5 HDDs you could test in our enclosure to whether the issue is with your SSD? Have you tried your enclosure (with SSD) in another PC?

I did try the 2.5 SDD in the box. But i'm running win 10 and I get same error. I have one old box with the old pin version. That works no problem. But its an old harddrive. I need my win 7, 3.5 from my prev rig. Ive only upgraded my pc in the last 3 weeks. I dont think the 4 harddrives have failed in that time. Ive googled your suggestion. I appreciate your help, Thank you.

Apologies it seems I may have miss-read your original post mate. For the 3.5 HDDs you'll probably need a HDD docking station/hub, the caddys never seem to give 3.5s enough power in my experience - which is why they are showing in CM but not usable.

Type in "2.5"/3.5" Dual HDD Docking Station Disk Clone IDE SATA Hard Drive USB Dock HUB" £20.95 - this is the one I use at work, had it for 5 years or so there are probably better ones these days.
