Rechargeable Batteries

I have a load of Duracell 1.2v rechargeables. These only last about 1 session in my G2 but will go for weeks of use in the Quest 2 controllers. I’ve tried normal 1.5v non rechargeables in my G2 and tracking and haptic isn’t any different so not sure the lower voltage of the Duracells are an issue. Keep reading G2 needs full 1.5/1.6’ers

I just buy the cheapo 10 for £1.80 from aldi. This might only be because i turn the haptics off, but with over 25 hours usage this week while i've been off work, i'm still on the first set. The haptics must really drain it or your play sessions go for quite a while:)

they are not needed for the oculus touch controllers however for the reverb G2 the enloops or the other 1.2v batteries listed here are totally unsuitable.
(this is moot for the specific OP but there is definitely a time and a place for 1.5v rechargeables) even tho they do need their own charger and don't have as many cycles.
