All my life I've had decent vision - I can read things at distances that are just a blur to most people, I can see well in the dark, etc etc..

But whilst my vision, imo, is pretty much perfect, my eyes are often fatigued.

I'd try eye drops, but I'm squemish when it comes to eyes :/

Will glasses help my eye fatigue, even though I don't need help with my focus?

If you can stay away from glasses I would, if you get glasses when you don't need them 100% it will result in your eyes becoming lazy and relying on them and in time requiring even stronger specs.

I had the same as you, it turned out I have mild astigmatism.

I can see perfectly fine but my eyes got tired quicker than most peoples, I suggest going an optician and finding out as your eyesight is worth looking after.

Go see the optician it maybe that you need some funky yellow shades for computer work or you could be long sighted which forces your eyes to work harder when close focussing so you may need computer/reading glasses.

Ignore the line about glasses making you eyes lazy it is a best a very very minor effect and at worst an out and out lie depending on which professionals you listen too.

This isn't true. They used to think it was, but when they tested it they found that the eyes of people who used glasses deteriotated less quickly than those who didn't.

To the OP:

Go see an optician. If you work with computers, your company will pay for it.

all eye tests should now be free in the UK, i got mine done a few months back

just do what i did.. smash 2 bones in your face then coz one eye is overcompensating for the other one they give you glasses to read lol.

and learn to play the worlds smallest violin. ;)
