Recomend a External harddrive

hi i was wondering if some one could recomend a exteranl hard drive that is about 80gb and is quite, i am just wanting it to store music

the lacie porsche range is sound, i have a couple for photos, the smallest they do is 160gb and ocuk have them @ 59 quid

There are a few options available, normally I'd suggest getting a bare drive and an enclosure separately becuase you can then choose the features you want - USB, Firewire or eSATA connection, looks, brand of drive etc.

For 80Gb though I'd look at laptop drives and 2.5" USB enclosures, that way you can get away with something that's USB powered.

ive got a lacie 160 pleased with mine . shifted 20 gig of data in 15 mins onto it

I have a WD External Drive with Firewire 800 or 400/USB Compatabilities. It's a great little drive and I'm sure you can find an 80GB version of the one I'm using.
