Recomend a good CPU waterblock block for AMD Ryzen

My techn arrived yesterday. Just waiting for a couplw of bits of gear to arrive next week then I'll swap out the ek velocity with it.

Bykski TR4 block, it's also compatible with AM4 albeit overkill, but who complains about overkill :p

Gotta love overkill!!
Its huge :) Thats on a normal ATX board (asus Prime X370-pro if my memory serves)
Cooling my WFH Ryzen 5 2600. Same loop is a 1080 (EK block), EK 360 rad (push pull noctua rad fans) in the front and an EK 280 (naked, no fans) in the roof... D5 pump.

Mining via Nicehash (CPU and GPU) for ~10 hours yesterday neither CPU nor GPU got over 41oC (stock speeds)

Your res needs a lot more coolant in it for being horizontal.

His res is practically full, it's just a trick of the light.

It wasnt as full as needed, that was initial leak testing, and back of case was jacked up on a plastic tub to stop pump sucking air.
I have since swapped the center exit res cap for a cap with 5 exits... Mounted an extension and a 90 onto that at the highest point and run a filling tube up the back of the case and fillport inline with the top at the rear. Bit of wiggling and got ALL the air out.

All pci plates are back in at the rear excepe the one where the fill pipe exits.

I saw some comments that with zen2 ekwb blocks achieved best cooling on nickels blocks with no plexi. Is that still the case with zen3?
