Yeah, my T-amp is plenty loud enough on 30-40% volume with windows and wave volume on only 50% (since the Audigy 2 ZS is supposed to distort if you take it over 50%) with 8 ohms speakers. If connected to something with more juice like my Marantz CD6000 OSE LE, the t-amp can pump out some serious room-filling volume, again without going over half volume.

All I can say is - if it does only pump out 6 watts at 8 ohms, then 6 watts must be plenty.

Are you talking about the same T-amp that ive just googled which pumps out a blistering 6 watts at 8ohms?

That's the one.

However, volume is also related to the sensitivity of the speakers.

Don't knock it until you have heard one.

IMHO, it's a bargain at this price.
