Recommend a 26"

Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a 26" monitor but I can't find a good one

I'm looking for good quality and a high res. I was going to go for the samsung t260HD but it's not in stock anywhere. Are there any other premium branded monitors that are good?

I'm looking for a TN since I can't afford and IPS

The thing is, I've never really heard of those type makes, I was hoping along the lines of Samsung & LG.

Iiyama were making monitors long before most of the ones out now they made some cracking crt's back in the days.

Oh right ok, I'm also looking for aesthetics as well, most the monitors I've seen don't have that wow factor to their looks.

I've read of a problem with the latest Iiyama 26" LCD's (at least) not turning back on when going to standby or something along those lines.

The only Iiyama i bought was a top end 19" CRT (Visionmaster Pro) and i RMAed it due to miss alignment of the picture plus it went fuzzy for a second every so often like it was recalibrating! The LG Flatron i replaced it with was far better.

Anyway going slightly OT now...

But i had been looking for a 26" a month ago and couldnt find anything to float my boat so i got a 2nd hand 24" Dell 2407WFP making sure it was revision A04...its brilliant! Games are fantastic, as are viewing angles and general clarity plus it has a USB hub and decent connectivity.

I bought an Asus 26" last year, partly based upon this review:

I'm really happy with it, aesthetically it's not flashy, picture quality is fine, no dead pixels. Oh, and it's massive.

There is also a version with a webcam built in.
