Recommend a 2TB Drive.

2TB for £93 :(

I remember when my friend purchase a 2TB Seagate for only £40

Then I don't think it will make a difference. Personally I'd probably just buy the 7200 because the extra money doesn't really bother me but I couldn't suggest it to someone for any viable reason really.

:EDIT:

I suppose if you are frequently moving large amounts of data too and from the hard drive it might be beneficial.

True but the Samsung f4 has 3 platters compared to four found on other 7200rpm drives so it actually works out just as quick/quicker,just research for reviews before you buy

Eco drives are a false economy anyway.

Power wise you are talking pennies saved a year, for pure storage get an eco drive if it's cheaper but that's it. If there is a 7200 at the same price point - no brainer.

Yeah to Hell with the Eco babble, and prices are too high anyway,I paid £46 new for mine and they are great/fast/reliable drives but if I had to buy another at todays prices Idk what id do
