Can anyone recommend a cheap strimmer?
Battery ideally. There's loads of tat out there but hoping something reliable that isn't too much.

Not got much to strim

Do you have any battery system already for tools? I had Makita batteries so went for their strimmer. If you have already invested in batteries then stick to it for simplicity.

Nothing tying me into a system.

Surely there isn't that much cross use of batteries? Strimmer, hedge cutter?

Or do these share batteries with power tools?

The Ryobi shares it with the whole One+ range so loads of powertools and the like.

I already had a drill, impact wrench, grinder, impact driver and 2x 5Ah batteries so it made it a no brainier to get the strimmer in the same range too.
