Recommend a fighting game

Get Mame and play some original arcade versions of the sf2 full series even the 3d ones + Virtua fighter and many many others. ;)
 
Street Fighter Vs X-Men is the absolute best fighting game I've ever played; a bit like SF2 on steroids. Its best to get a good pad though, especially one with a smooth edged d-pad or your fingers will be blistered in no time.

Ken/Akuma or Ken/Wolverine are what I usually play, though to be honest I just need Ken. ;)

Xmen vs street fighter and garou-mark of the wolves are quality

rubbish! Id kick your ass with ryu and cyclops (on arcade of course ;) )

LMAO, Cyclops is only good because of his pansy laser; I just need him cornered for 7 seconds and my shoryuken/hurrican kick combos will slap him up silly.
 
Wasn't rise of the robots famousley regarded as pretty much the worst game off all time? (budget / play) How I remember it anyway :P

Pick up an unboxed snes = £10inc
Pick up Street fighter 2 Turbo / Super Streetfighter = £5
Ensuing hours of gameplay heaven = Priceless

;)
 
One Must Fall 2097, old game but absolutely amazing! Its google it can dl it for free now too.

Fighting robots ***!
 
I had the same problem a while ago and eventually decided to just get a GameCube and Soul Caliber II. Link pwnage! ;)

Agreed, but it was never officially released was it? I had some pre release very that was buggy as hell but a great laugh.

As much as I love MAME, I will leave it at that. I wouldn't talk about it on these boards and have seen people get slapped for it. It's a very complicated issue regarding licensing. If you want to talk about it, I'd use email.

For the best fighting experiance on the cheap get a PSX for a quid (or something) and a copy of Tekken 1/2/3

All are great fun and leagues ahead of all the others

That could, possibly be more twisted than Thrill Kill. But then, Thrill Kill had all sorts of rape and somehow seemed funny.
