Recommend a just-outside-of-London estate/foodie/spa/hotel thing

We didn't eat there sadly. Just had a couple of pints after our round, and scarpered. I did have a bacon sarnie after the first 9 holes, and that was a bit spesh

I've not been myself, although it is on the cards, but I'd have suggested Pennyhill Park as a potential venue.

The Vineyard is another one, but I think it's probably too far away to be a suitable choice.

We ended up going here. It was phenomenal. Daniel Galmiche works wonders and his tasting menu was probably one of the best gastro experiences I have ever had. Crazy levels of technical skill, but just enough down to earth enough for you to enjoy every single course.
