Recommend a printer

I have had the Epson Stylus Photo R200 (the R220 is the latest version of this printer) for just under 2 years, have been using compatibles ever since the original cartridges ran out without any problems. It is recommended if you use the Epson inkjet printers that if you don't use them often, to make a point of printing out some kind of coloured document (I use a coloured photo) at least once a month, to make sure the print heads don't become blocked.

The printing quality, even using compatables, from the R200 is very good indeed, especially ptohos. :)

I've had 2 Epson Printers a Stylus 800 series (think it was 810) and Stylus CX5200 all in one.

Each of the sodding things packed up and are no use to me, so has a familiy memebers epson printer (not sure what it is) but from my experience epson are rubbish expensive on inks and dont give a damn about the consumer.

I'll never buy an epson again and will always deter people from buying them.

I to am thinking of buying HP as i noticed the printer heads are on the cartridges and this is just a brilliant way to do thing, i've not really looking into it to much but from a glance they are slightly higher than i would like to pay.

Another route i've been thinking of is Laser as i think i could pretty much deal with black and white images if wanted to print them and the they seem to be very coseffective and they can't clog up ?

I saw a samsung laser printer on offer somewhere for £40 i think it was and was very tempted to buy it but did'nt in the end.
