I'm about to install an SSD into my old mans PC and would like to show him a very simple before and after type thing to show how much faster it is. can anyone recommend a very simple program, with simple to understand results?
I'll also be upgrading his RAM so if you can recommend a good program there it would also be much appreciated (and save me a double post onto the memory forum)

Cheers

AS SSD will tell you if the partition is aligned properly, but wont show off the performance of a OCZ ssd totally, where as atto does, but atto doesnt give access times etc.

Just a small warning.. constantly running the benchmarks will slowly make the drive run slower and slower.. so once run take note rather than continuing to run over and over otherwise you may end up with poor performance after a not so long period of time.

hehe, yea i went to run it on my raid 5 array, was going to take 46 minutes to do the 4k test apperently, dont know how long it would actually have taken as I stoped it :D
