Recommend a Strimmer please

I am after a replacement strimmer for my mother.
She had been using a Flymo Contour heavy duty 600 strimmer which had a very heavy head, dual speed, could turn the head etc
This strimmer served well, but had a very heavy head, and very poor centre of mavity, it left one reaching out and over frequently

There is a considerable bit of ground to cover, edging and around and under tress in about half an acre of lawns etc with beds at edges, and some central shrubs trees


Suggestions please for what might be a suitable replacement now?

Corded, petrol or battery?

Corded, petrol will be too heavy and she is unlikely to be able to start it
she strims for hours occasionally, so battery won't last
corded is what she is used to, will stick to it

I've had one for about 3 years now - the auto line feed works brilliantly but don't bother buying any other type of line as they usually don't work.
