because he didn't want BF4 haha

CSGO is a good shout however in my honest opinion, if your loosing 1v1 battles in BF4 then you'll be even more frustrated in CSGO.

I like CS:GO, I got really into it prior to the world cup and actually looked forward to playing it which is a rare thing these days.

However, the community (especially in game) is horrendous and can be a major put off for new players. Half the time you end up muting everyone on your team which ruins the strategic aspect of the game. It's a real shame.

I think thats realy server dependant, i have found community servers in CS:GO and cs source with very friendly atmosphere's.

I don't think that's unique to CS:GO...

Saying that, so far I've found the community in PS2 to be pretty mature and co-operative, had several good outings with platoon/squad leaders who actively update waypoints, assign squads to certain tasks and generally use tactics, and more importantly people who actually listen and do what they're told!

Bit of a different tack to the multiplayer games suggested so far: Payday 2. I have put in nearly 70hrs in the last 3 weeks because this game is like crack. A really nice change from the norm, and it forces you to play as a team to win every time. Very good fun and you'll be shooting at bots to help you hone your skills until you are MP competitive for the likes of BF

Another vote for Red Orchestra 2, Rising Storm is a fantastic add-on, barbecuing Japs never gets boring.

I wouldn't recommend TF2, biggest pile of **** I've ever played, pay to level up facebook ********. The original was so much better, everyone on a level footing where practice and skill made the difference.

I've been having a look at UT3, I played UT2k4 in the past and it's fast paced with quite a few different game modes.
