Im downsizing my system to MicroAtx, and ive bought a board which has only 2 SATA ports, this will be good enough for my raid setup.

Im going to be having my spare drive in a hard disk caddy.

Id really like a Caddy which will support SATA hard disks, can someone recommend me a good one?

Id still like to listen to music and play other media files off of this, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

With only the 2 SATA ports you're limited to either USB or Firewire as an interface and SATA to Firewire caddies are rarer than hen's teeth - they exist but I don't know of anyone who sells them.

That leaves USB2 as the obvious option, the speed is plenty for listening to music or playing video. My USB2 caddy can read/write at 30Mb/s for big files.

That then just leaves the choice of caddy, there are a couple of SATA to USB ones on OCUK - this one I think looks better than the others.
