Recommend Me A Camera

Hello, i would like a camera for christmas for around £100-£150 mark, anyone got any ideas on which is the best one for this budget?

What kind of features do you want, does it need to be compact?

I'd prefair it to be compact. I just want to be able to take better pictures at concerts and things. Better than my 5MP Sony Ericsson C900
