Hi people :)

My friend is 19 and has 2 years ncb.

He currently drives a 206 and is perfectly happy with it for work (runs his own business)

But he wants something "lary" for the weekends -

Requirements

Fast acceleration - Top speed not an issue
Handles well
Looks good (matter of opinion ofcourse)
5 door's (for taking friends like me out :p)
Reliable

Dislikes

BMW's (don't ask why, they don't do anything for him)

Econamy is not an issue, only going to be used on the weekends for fun down lanes etc.

What do you suggest? :) - To me a nice newish shape scooby sounds his best bet.

Budget is 10k.

Go!

Am i mistaken or do a few companies allow you to use NCB on two cars if you insure them both with them?

Yup some do. These companies tend to chase the mainstream market - Mr 2.4 children with two family cars.

They won't want to be offering competitive quotes to a 19 year old who wants a Scoob to boost around in.

Subaru Legacy B5 RSK/Mitsi Galant VR4?

could get good example for that price easy with some money left for mods.

He probably can't use his NCB if he keeps it on his 206.

Insurance costs isn't really an issue to him, I'm pretty sure he was going to take out a new policy anyway...

I think you'll find that £3-4k insurance quotes will be an issue to him.

My subtle message was that he's minted and isn't really bothered.

I mean c'mon, any 19 YO wanting a Tubby Scooby is going to have to expect to pay through the roof.

The Sunroof is for throwing grenades and waving EEEENNNGGEEERRLLAND flags out of :p
HAha, i'd consider the Skyline - one of my friends who is 20 has one, they are fine getting in/out after a few drinks (he doesnt drink btw :p....;))
